Own a unique piece of the past with this Frank Thrower glass candle holder for Wedgwood, a standout from the 1980s. Notably rare in crystal clear glass, setting it apart from the more common smokey grey variations.

Despite its vintage status, this candle holder is in great condition. Upon close inspection, there appears to be a distinctive feature resembling a chip, yet to the touch, no cracks or disruptions can be felt, indicating it's likely confined to the inside of the glass—a fascinating detail worth noting. The candle holder stands at a height of approximately 11cm with a diameter of 7.5cm.

Frank Thrower (1932-87), the visionary behind Dartington Glass established in 1966, left an enduring legacy in glass design. Acquired by Wedgwood Glass in 1982, Dartington continued producing Thrower's designs. This piece is a testament to Thrower's expertise in molded glass designs, influenced by the post-war Scandinavian styles.
